The internationally indexed scientific and professional journal "Business Consultant" publishes professional and scientific papers in the field of economics and business. The editorial board of the journal accepts only unpublished works. Papers are submitted in one of our languages (Bosnian, Serbian and Croatian) in A4 format, by electronic mail (e-mail). The editorial board reserves the right to editorially adapt the work to the propositions and standards of the magazine and the literary language, i.e. the English language, as well as the requirements of EBSCO Publishing, where the journal is indexed.
Manuscripts should be sent electronically to the following e-mail address:
finconsult@bih.net.ba ; finconult.sa@bih.net.ba ; finconsult2@outlook.com
In order for works to be published, they must meet the following criteria:
I. AUTHOR INFORMATION:
- The volume of papers (including summary, list of references, notes and places for graphic attachments) may amount to no more than one author's sheet (up to 16 typed pages of A4 format).
- In the upper left corner of the first page, the title, first and last name of the author should be listed, with basic author information in a footnote, for example: Ph.D. First and Last Name (font: Times New Roman, font size: 13, Bold).
- A footnote on the same page lists the name and address of the institution where the author is employed, as well as his/her e-mail address.
II. FORMATTING THE TEXT OF THE PAPER:
- For a double space below, in the middle of the page, the title of the paper is indicated in capital letters in our and English languages (font: Times New Roman, font size: 13, Bold), and below the title follows a summary in our and English languages (Italic), key words of the paper also in Bosnian and English, as well as the rest of the text of the paper (font: Times New Roman, font size: 12).
- The entire text should be in Times New Roman, font size: 12, without spacing.
- Do not number the introduction and conclusion. Type the text without spacing, use spaces between paragraphs and do not indent the first line of a paragraph.
- The footnote on the same page states the name and address of the institution where the author is employed, as well as the e-mail address (font: Times New Roman, font size: 10).
III. TABLES AND FIGURES:
- Tables and graphics are entered in the designated place in the work, and images must be expressed in black and white.
- For tables, we recommend black letters on a white background, without shades of gray.
- Tables and figures must not be scanned.
- All images should be submitted separately from the work itself, in CDR and PDF format.
- It is mandatory to indicate the source under each image/table.
- The formation of images should be coordinated, meaning all images and tables in the paper should be coherent, forming a single visual whole (using the same font type and size in the image title, using the same or similar stylistic elements).
- As in the text of the paper, use Times New Roman font, appropriate size, in the images.
IV. REFERENCES, FOOTNOTES, LITERATURE:
- References to quoted parts of the text are given in the text, not in the notes. References are placed in parentheses and include the author's surname, year of publication and, in the case of a citation, the page, for example: (Babi , 2005) or (Babi , 2005, 129) or the ordinal number of the cited work in the list of references is given with the page number, for example: 6, p.12.
- Footnotes are indicated by Arabic numerals in the text and are positioned on the same page at the bottom of the text.
- In the literature list, all used sources are listed, in alphabetical order according to the author's last name and in chronological order for the works of the same author. If the sources of the same author with the same year of publication are used, they should be distinguished (a, b, c, etc.) in parentheses after the year of publication. If there are several authors of a joint work, surnames with the first letter of the first name are listed here in alphabetical order. Use the following examples:
- For books:
Vukonić, B., (2005), Name of the book, publisher.
- For magazines:
Novković, S., (1999), Transition from self-management to employee ownership in Croatia: A Survey, Economic research, 12 (1-2):57-68. (12 indicates the volume/year/ of the journal, (1) the volume number within the year, and 57-68 the pagination of the paper in the text).
V. KEYWORDS OF THE WORK:
List up to eight words in our language and in English.
VI. SUMMARY OF THE WORK:
The summary of the work should contain up to 100 words (up to half a page of typed text in A4 format). The summary states the purpose and goals of the work, methods, structure of the work, basic results and a conclusion on the possible application of the results. Each paper must have an abstract in one of our languages and in English.
